How it works
- Fuel cost uses total miles, loaded plus deadhead, divided by MPG and multiplied by the diesel price.
- Profit subtracts fuel, tolls, driver pay and your share of truck, trailer and insurance costs for the trip.
- Profit per total mile counts deadhead, so a long empty run shows up honestly.
